We were design engineer for the Tema thermal 1 power plant, responsible for process, civil, mechanical, electrical and control and instrumentation design for a single 126MW open cycle gas turbine.
Following construction in 2008, we were appointed as designer for a second power plant located next to the first. This plant known as the Tema Cenit thermal power project was to be identical to the first but an independent power plant.
We provided designs for all civil, mechanical, electrical, piping, control and instrumentation aspects of the project. In addition, we provided technical consultancy during procurement and site supervision throughout construction.
After both plants entered operation, we undertook a technical study for the conversion of the two open cycle power plants to a single combined cycle plant.
