Mott MacDonald led an international joint venture on a six-year contract as independent checking and site engineer on the Taiwan High Speed Rail project. At the time of development, it was among the world’s largest privately funded transport schemes.
We were also appointed to develop a comprehensive asset management strategy for the rail line's civil infrastructure. The aim of the programme was to provide Taiwan High Speed Rail Corporation with the necessary assurance that the civil infrastructure is being maintained in a safe condition for use by the operator.
