The US$104 million San Pedro III PV project called for the construction and operation of a 30MW PV power plant near the city of Calama in northern Chile's Antofagasta region.
We provided full technical due diligence to the lender on the project, including a review of the suite of contracts and a generation forecast analysis. Our scope of services included a review of the technology, solar resource and energy yield assessment, environmental, social and permitting review, site assessment, finance model review and engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) and operations and maintenance agreements review.
Our solar team has a long and successful track record of helping clients develop reliable and efficient large-scale grid-connected PV projects. San Pedro III successfully achieved financial close on time. We continued our role as LTA for the construction of the project. The plant is now in full operation.
