Colin Riches, projects director Colin is a chartered structural engineer with nearly 20 years’ experience in private structural – engineering practice. Based in our Leeds office, Colin leads a team of structural engineers working on building projects for private and public clients across a range of sectors. The team has expertise in the structural design of large and high-rise residential developments, as well as healthcare, education and sports and leisure projects.
Colin will be meeting with existing partners in Cannes and looks forward to introducing Mott MacDonald to other key people within in the property and construction industry. On a personal note, he is also keen to support the work of the local city region delegations.
Bill Dowey, buildings and infrastructure director Bill offers the full breadth of skills, sectors, services and global reach from a uniquely diverse global consultancy delivering leading-edge solutions. This year he will be meeting with contacts old and new, among them architects, developers, and investors, with interest in commercial, mixed-use, retail, residential and leisure projects in Scotland and all of Ireland. He is also interested in discussing urbanism and smart cities.
Saud Muhsinovic, cities initiatives regional lead for London Saud is looking to engage with the industry leaders in developing strategic partnerships that would help create the tailored service offerings for our existing clients. In his role as development director, Saud is also interested in collaborative approach to opening opportunities with the new clients, working across a range of projects, from large-scale masterplans, urban regeneration and infrastructure schemes to various commercial, mixed-use and retail buildings.
Marc Nadim, project principal Marc provides technical advice, management and engineering design on building and infrastructure developments for the private and public sector. He leads on technical delivery, managing project risk and assuring quality and compliance for all types of building projects. Marc is looking forward to discussing with owners, developers, contractors and designers abput how he can collaborate and maximise the delivery of their scheme or project.
Kevin Riley, technical principal Kevin is a transport planner with a very strong understanding of infrastructure meeting development needs. He regularly leads and inputs into multidisciplinary projects across the UK and beyond. Kevin has a strong commercial understanding that is often applied to public and private sector clients within his role as Mott MacDonald’s lead for ‘placemaking’ within its integrated transport business. He works on masterplanning, land development and area wide strategy work to help make development and change happen. Kevin is keen to meet with clients interested in working on major sites or understanding more about the development of cities and towns.
Luke Strickland, associate Luke leads our environmental team in Birmingham and help clients achieve ambitious environmental outcomes through urban infrastructure. In practice this often includes coordinating environmental assessments and providing meaningful and creative environmental input into design. This year at MIPIM he will be exploring with clients how climate resilient cities can be created with stronger blue-green infrastructure and hopefully share some “I didn’t know you did that” moments too.

Richard Marriott, project principal Richard leads Mott MacDonald’s buildings portfolio in its advisory and programme delivery business which undertakes programme, project and commercial management. He has a particular interest in transit oriented development and will be connecting with clients at MIPIM to discuss the challenges and opportunities of delivering these schemes.
Stephen Lawrence, buildings and infrastructure director
