BMPC is a joint venture company manufacturing and distributing narcotic analgesics in China. As a leader in the narcotic analgesic market, the efficiency of BMPC's drug delivery systems is, of course, essential.
Adherence to Chinese state regulations concerning the security of the site and the handling of raw intermediates and finished materials was a crucial aspect of the design and management of the project. The entire facility is required to meet the expectation of the Chinese equivalent of the FDA and is fully validated to these standards.
The project was successfully delivered as planned to allow a start-up production of around 50 million tablets in a single shift pattern. The final capacity will increase to 350 million tablets on a double-shift pattern. The facility also incorporates dedicated fallow space for other functions to enable future production growth capability.
