Mott MacDonald has been named Project Management Company of the Year at the 2010 Association for Project Management (APM) Awards, which took place on 21 October in London, UK.
The APM Project Management Awards are the most prestigious in the UK sector, recognising world class project and programme management for over 15 years. The Project Management Company of the Year Award recognises commitment to professionalism and the development of project management professionals. The award judges also look for an ability to rise to challenges, tenacity in the face of obstacles and flair in documenting work as project manager.
The awards ceremony was attended by members of Mott MacDonald’s management, economics and consultancy team and the award itself was collected by Paul Hilton and Gemma Holmes, who co-ordinated the winning award submission.
Mott MacDonald group board director Guy Leonard said, “Winning this award is a wonderful achievement for Mott MacDonald and a great credit to all of our colleagues who deliver programme and project management services to our customers. This success makes it clear to the world that we are a force to be reckoned with in this field.”
Mott MacDonald has provided programme and project management services to major projects worldwide including the Sea to Sky Highway in Canada and the Transnet expansion programme in South Africa.
