Challenge
The project involved constructing 4km of eastbound carriageway, consisting of two running lanes and an emergency lane, as well as junction improvements associated with the R4 ring road in south Gent and its connectivity to the E17 and E40 motorways. New developments include underpasses for vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists and four canal bridges, which will help improve accessibility and assist with the future development of land in the southern parts of the city.
Solution
We undertook due diligence to help the project reach financial close. We completed construction monitoring and maintenance monitoring. Our team's multidisciplinary expertise and experience helped ensure that the project stays on schedule and budget.
