Mott MacDonald, the global management, engineering and development
consultancy, has achieved 45th place in The Sunday Times
PricewaterhouseCoopers Profit Track 100 list of Britain's top
private companies.
The company achieved an outstanding profit growth of 61% a year from £10.1m in 2005 to £41.9m in 2008. Mott MacDonald is the only management, engineering and development consultancy to be placed within this prestigious league table.
Published in 18 April's edition of The Sunday Times, the league is compiled by an independent team of researchers and ranks Britain's private firms with the fastest growing profits over their last three financial years.
Peter Wickens, Mott MacDonald’s chairman said, “We’re delighted to be acknowledged as one of the 100 top performing private companies in Britain. The number of engineering and construction companies on the list has more than halved since last year, so we feel particularly proud of our position. This achievement is a tribute shared by everyone in the company and is made even greater given the current economic climate.”
Mott MacDonald was also named in the top ten of The Sunday Times 25 Best Big Companies to Work For list, which highlights the company’s standing as one of the UK’s leading private companies.
