Ministry of Defence Employer Recognition Scheme gold award
We were awarded the MOD’s Defence Employer Recognition Scheme gold award in July 2022. The scheme recognises organisations and businesses that pledge, demonstrate or advocate support to defence and the armed forces community. To achieve an award, an employer’s values must also be aligned with the Armed Forces Covenant. We received gold for our support to the whole service family, from recruiting and supporting service leavers, supporting reservists and cadet instructors with paid leave for training, and support to those who deploy on operations. We also work with others to support spouses and partners of military personnel looking for work, including through CV writing and interview techniques and the offer of employment.
