  • Dr Darrell Leek – Waterproofing, concrete and cementitious materials: Technical director and chartered engineer with nearly 30 years’ experience investigating defects and deterioration in concrete structures, waterproofing and water-resisting structures.
  • Paul Burrell – Structural engineering: Principal with 40 years’ experience of structural engineering. Experienced in the commercial, retail, residential, educational and civil engineering sectors and has completed numerous expert witness commissions. Member of the Academy of Experts.
  • Dr Paul Lambert – Corrosion engineering: Technical director, chartered engineer and NACE certificated corrosion specialist with over 30 years’ experience of corrosion protection, deterioration assessment and rehabilitation for reinforced concrete and steelwork structures.
  • Alan Cavendish-Tribe – Mechanical engineering: Director and chartered mechanical engineer with over 30 years’ experience of construction, manufacturing and testing complex welded fabrications, mechanical plant and equipment, including bridges, pipelines, pumps, engines, fans and material handling equipment.
  • Anthony O’Brien – Foundations and geotechnics: Director, chartered engineer and visiting Professor at University of Southampton, visiting lecturer at Imperial College, University of London and with 30 years’ international geotechnical and foundation engineering experience for transport, building, nuclear facilities, energy and water engineering projects.
  • Barnali Ghosh – Earthquake engineering: Chartered geotechnical engineer and honorary lecturer at University College London. Global expertise in seismic hazard assessment and earthquake engineering for assets such as ports, harbours and bridges.
  • Abdul Farooq – Civil engineering: Director and chartered engineer with 38 years’ experience of civil engineering. He has specialised in bridges, piled foundations (civil structures and bridges) and tunnel engineering and has been responsible for the study, design, construction supervision and provision of technical advice for major projects worldwide.
  • Michael Francis – Tunnels: Director and chartered engineer with over 35 years’ experience in the project management, planning, design and construction of tunnelling projects in the UK and overseas including tunnel projects in soft ground with tunnel boring machines and sprayed concrete lining, hard rock tunnels, deep shafts and caverns.
  • Sean Barker - Ports and coastal structures: Director and chartered engineer with over 20 years’ experience of port, coastal and fluvial projects in a variety of roles including master plans, strategic and concept planning, feasibility studies, technical reviews, asset management and detailed design.
  • Trevor Lawrence – Vibration and noise: Structural engineer with over 35 years’ experience, who specialises in the structural and environmental effects of traffic and machinery-induced vibration and noise and has also undertaken numerous technical evaluations including advanced analytical modelling.
  • Iain MacGregor – Pavements: Technical director and pavement engineer with 30 years’ experience covering all aspects of pavement engineering, including build, maintenance, research and development, routine maintenance, condition assessment pavement design and site supervision.
  • Clive Atkinson – Cladding and façade engineering: Technical director of a specialist façade team and Member of the Royal Institute of British Architects with over 30 years’ experience. Cladding expert with experience covering all types of cladding and materials, roofing, access and maintenance strategies.
  • Stuart Olley – Building services engineering: Associate and chartered engineer with 37 years’ experience of mechanical and electrical building services. Member of Chartered Institute of Arbitration.
