We have over 600 employees based in five countries – South Africa, Uganda, Mozambique, Botswana, Libya. Our centres of excellence vary from our well-known office in Rivonia, Johannesburg to our newer bases in Port Elizabeth and Botswana; which also incorporate a new addition to the Mott MacDonald family – the leading engineering and management consultancy, PDNA.
As a business we are constantly striving to ensure that our competitive edge is both maintained and enhanced through our global experience in offering the opportunity to work on high profile projects in the countries they are based.
Having local offices enables us to work more effectively with our clients in delivering the best service and solutions possible.
Our South African office has been commissioned and is currently undertaking a high-profile rail project spanning over 146km from Maputo in Mozambique to Richards Bay in South Africa via Swaziland. The principal requirement is to provide an alternative link for general freight traffic, allowing the Coal Line and its traffic to progress uninhibited.
Our role on this project is multi-faceted and includes the project execution planning, quality and governance management, existing route upgrades, traffic flow pattern analysis as well as the development of operational plans, sustainability analysis and risk assessment – which only helps to illustrate our capabilities as a multi-disciplined consultancy.
As we maintain our presence in established markets, we are continually diversifying into others, and therefore we are always on the lookout for creative, ambitious individuals to help grow our business.
People will always be viewed as our most valuable asset which is echoed in our determination to offer them rewarding careers to ensure that our work in Africa continues to prosper.
