Why did you decide to join Mott MacDonald?
I decided to join because there was a great opportunity to work on a wide variety of different projects all over the UK and the rest of the world.
The staff possessed a huge range of skills, experience and enthusiasm which contribute to the success of the business and my decision to join.
What is the best thing about your role?
I enjoy working with a talented team of people who have a ‘can do’ attitude and a determination to deliver complex projects for our clients.

I have found the culture to be collaborative and inclusive.
What have you found out about Mott MacDonald since you joined?
Mott MacDonald are working on some of the largest infrastructure projects in the UK, and this work involves staff from a number of sectors within the company bringing together a diverse range of skills and disciplines.
What makes Mott MacDonald stand out from other companies?
It is clear that everyone is working towards common goals, and staff are provided with the right tools to collaborate and work together no matter what their location.
Are you involved with any charities or do any volunteer work?
In April of this year I ran my first marathon in London, raising over £3200 for Children with Cancer UK. I finished in a time of three hours, 58 minutes and six seconds. Running is a keen hobby for me and I try to run during at least one lunchtime a week which I think is good for refreshing the mind. I’ve now signed up for my second marathon in Brighton in April 2018!
Where is your favourite place?
Sydney, Australia has an important place in my heart as I lived and worked there for 9 years with my family and have some amazing friends there. The city has some iconic structures such as the Harbour Bridge and Opera House and there are some amazing beaches such as my local, Manly Beach. Not forgetting the brilliant weather too!
What inspires you at work?
It makes me proud to be part of a team of people, who strive to find solutions to complex challenges and deliver high quality projects for our clients, time and time again.
