Mechanical engineering jobs
We’re passionate about integrated design to support better living and working environments. Within this team, you could help to assess and understand specific project requirements, undertake mechanical design across a number of disciplines, as well as supervise the construction of mechanical systems.
Roles we typically recruit for include mechanical engineer, senior mechanical engineer (where you can choose to specialise in HVAC) and principal mechanical engineer. No matter which position you join us in, you’ll be given the tools and guidance needed to learn and grow at Mott MacDonald.
Civil engineering jobs
As a civil engineer, you’ll be responsible for developing technical solutions from conception through to delivery on the construction site. We’ll expect you to have a good knowledge and appreciation of current technical engineering codes and practices as this is a hands- on role.
Roles we typically recruit for include senior civil engineer, principal civil engineer, civil technician, civil design project director, and civil chartered engineer. We look for individuals with a flexible attitude to work, a sound understanding of the buildings sector and enthusiasm to take on a variety of projects.
Electrical engineering jobs
An electrical engineering position in our buildings services team is ideal if you want to work on boutique and large scale local and international projects. You’ll be given the opportunity to not only work on an exciting range of assignments, but also to enhance your professional development.
You could help to provide customised solutions for electrical building services and control systems, deliver studies using specialist software systems such as BIM, and work with new technologies including smart cities and Internet of Things (IOT). Roles in this sector include electrical engineer, senior electrical engineer, principal electrical engineer and electrical team lead.
Structural engineering jobs
Join us as a structural engineer and you’ll play a key role in our buildings team. As part of this role, you’ll help to formulate cost-effective solutions, analyse proposals to verify feasibility, and use computer modelling techniques and tools in analysis and design. By pinpointing and resolving design and development issues early on in a project, you’ll be crucial in handling site queries that may arise.
Positions within this team include resident structural engineer, structural design engineer, senior structural engineer, principal structural engineer and associate structural engineer.
