Why did you decide to join Mott MacDonald?
After working with the largest power utility company in India for 20 years, I was approached by Mott MacDonald. I did not know much about Mott MacDonald other than the company was a global and diverse engineering consultancy. It was an excellent decision to work for Mott MacDonald as the organisation is truly dynamic and progressive, which is exactly what I had been searching for.
What is the best thing about your role?
The best part of my role is that I am able to apply my engineering skills and financial knowledge in my managerial role, which is great because my role is always developing and no day is the same.
How would you describe the culture of Mott MacDonald?
It’s a “unity in diversity” – a homogeneous culture across geographical barriers, participative and collaborative approach across hierarchies.
What is one thing you’ve found out about Mott MacDonald from working here that you think everyone should know?
You take extreme pride in what you have accomplished and can call your own hard work. It’s rewarding.
What is your most memorable experience?
I recently travelled to Kashmir which was very memorable and of course my daughter’s admission to a degree in medicine (MBBS).
What would your perfect day consist of?
Waking up relaxed, working on something productive and going out in the evening for dinner with my family.
