Why did you decide to join Mott MacDonald?
The sheer size and diversity of the organisation in terms of the people it employs, its global reach and the projects it undertakes appealed to me as did its reputation for being a great employer to work for and the value it places on its people.
What is the best thing about your role?
The day to day variety of challenges I am presented with and the not knowing quite what might come up next, plus the fact I get to work with all levels of staff and see individuals grow and develop.

One of professionalism and progression where individuals value each other, what they do, how they do it and seek to have positive impacts through their roles and the organisation they work for.
How do you feel your career has progressed while working at Mott MacDonald?
I have continuously progressed through the opportunities that have been offered to me, that I have found and just through the organisation being a dynamic one which looks to change and improve. I am certainly a more rounded professional through having worked for Mott MacDonald.
What makes Mott MacDonald stand out from other companies?
The value that it places on its people, its clients and the world in general. It certainly cares about all of these and this is demonstrated through its focus on looking to ‘do right’ by individuals, the fact it is a successful organisation and through the positive impacts its projects have.
What is your favourite past time?
Travel and culture, so I have enjoyed working with individuals from all over the world and in particular being able to visit new places through the course of my work.
Who or what inspires you?
The people around me and the fact there are always challenges to take on and developments/ improvements to be made. Life is not dull and people are a big factor in this for me.
