It gave me the opportunity to work in a specific location and sector along with the benefits of working for a multi-disciplined organization.
What is the best thing about your role?
Variety, where working on an operational site, which is effectively a small town, you get to experience all types of projects from major construction and engineering contracts to facilities management contracts associated with maintaining the infrastructure on the site.
How would you describe the culture of Mott MacDonald?
Given the size and diversity of the organization it's unusual to find myself describing Mott MacDonald as a “family firm” but that's the overriding ethos in the way Mott MacDonald support their employees through all aspects of their professional and personal life.
How have you been supported during your career development?
Mott MacDonald have supported my on-going professional development, where they have supported my diversification into dispute resolution and mediation, as well as supporting my role as project director where I have undertaken training to develop other soft skills through the ‘Managing People for Excellence programme.’
What is the best thing about the country you live in?
The seasons, where living in the UK you sometimes get them all in one day
