About MMB
Mott MacDonald Bentley (MMB) is the fully integrated design and construction arm of Mott MacDonald. It combines the design expertise of Mott MacDonald with the contracting experience of JN Bentley. This means that working in the MMB part of the business you experience the best of both design and build, and influence projects all the way through to completion on site.
What we do
As an integrated design and build business, MMB provides full feasibility, design, construction and commissioning services, focused largely on the UK water sector. We offer a range of exciting design-based roles for engineers and technicians, including civil design engineer, mechanical, electrical and process design engineer and BIM technician – as well as specialist roles such as ecologist, environmental advisor, geotechnical and structural engineer.
Explore current opportunities in MMB
Projects cover clean and wastewater assets and will see you work across the whole project lifecycle from solution definition, through to outline and detailed design, providing construction support and designing temporary works.
As a designer you'll collaborate closely in a tight-knit triangle with operational and commercial colleagues, contributing to the holistic delivery of innovative, efficient, and sustainable solutions. Your designs will not only be technically excellent, but site-ready too.
The design and build environment in MMB is a great place to develop. Progression routes are really well supported and can lead to opportunities towards senior/principal engineer or senior management roles.
Project leaders
In MMB we combine the traditional project manager role with the technical skills of an engineer, creating our project leaders. Our project leaders are given the autonomy to run projects whilst still maintaining the hands-on aspects of engineering that we all came into this profession to do.
