Why did you decide to join Mott MacDonald?
I was offered a permanent position straight after university (University of Edinburgh) as I had been employed as an intern during the two summers before I graduated. I applied to Mott MacDonald as a graduate because I felt the company had good international prospects and had good central offices in major cities.
What is the best thing about your role?
I work with a fun, dedicated, diverse and, most of all, supportive team. I know they are behind me in everything I try to achieve.
How would you describe the culture of Mott MacDonald?
Supportive and inclusive.
What project(s) are you currently working on?
I am a contract administrator and project manager on the Ayr and Crosshouse hospitals (£45m hospital development in Ayrshire), project manager on an Outline Business Case project for a large Higher Education project and I manage a team of construction Supervisors on a £60m hospital project in Glasgow. I am also currently delivering training in NEC Contracts and Microsoft Access 2010.
What has been your favourite Mott MacDonald social event?
WaterAid Munro climbing in Perthshire.
