We’ve played a key part in the development of Qatar since 1974, especially in the energy and water sectors. Some of our most notable projects include the £340 million Ras Abu Fontas B2 plant, an extension to the B plant near Doha, which was created to meet the country’s increasing power and water demand. We provided design review and construction monitoring services during the construction of the plant.
In addition, we were responsible for the Qatar 2022 World Cup bid stadium which was designed and built in only six months. Environmental performance was a huge factor in this project, which meant we had to be extremely innovative in how we created this air conditioned, carbon neutral stadium. This resulted in 200% energy efficiency improvement and 76% thermal energy recovery.

The latter project helped to tackle the power and water demand increases in the country.
We’re also one of only a few consultants working on the Kahramaa high voltage distribution network, and with Phase XI of the Qatar transmission and distribution expansion programme on the horizon, we’re in a privileged position to offer a wide range of electrical engineering roles.
In addition to our breadth of civil, mechanical and electrical engineering positions, we also have opportunities for planning, industrial, project and contract engineers to join us.
