Why did you choose to join Mott MacDonald?
One of my university colleagues was working in the country and he asked if I would be interested in working here. I was on visit here and I sent my resume to Mott MacDonald. I got an interview call the very next day and that’s how I started working. Fast-forward ten years, and I’m proud member of Mott MacDonald. I always dreamt of working for a multinational global development consultancy firm and Mott MacDonald provided me with the perfect platform to grow.
What is the best thing about your job/role?
I am currently working in a senior project manager / director role; I love this role that covers all aspects of system development, from the conceptual stage to the handing-over stages including coordination, administration and commercial tasks. I feel proud that we are a direct participant in community development and my contribution helps the larger interests of society.
How would you describe the culture of Mott MacDonald?

What has been your most memorable project?
I was part of the Mott MacDonald Europe team in Yemen where the water supply scheme for six communities was envisaged. This project provided me with an opportunity to learn so much about the other things beyond work, the culture, the struggle, the hopes and aspirations of people, and at the end of the day it was a great lesson learned in many different ways.
Have you been involved in any charities or done any volunteer work, please explain your involvement?
I regularly volunteered for a non-profit organizations, contributing in the areas of education and sustainable community development to transform deprived communities in remote regions.
Where is your favourite place?
My family farm, between calm and mysterious surrounding mountains.
