Transport planner jobs

As a transportation planner, you’ll help to support ongoing transport planning projects, apply your knowledge of research and statistical methods, and engage with clients and the public when required. Typical roles we recruit for include transportation planner, senior transport planner, associate transport planner, urban transport planner and principal transport planner/modeller.

Within senior and principal roles, you could get involved with more technical transport planning project work such as impact assessments, transport appraisal, junction and accident analysis, and transport policy and strategy development. As you develop, you’ll have the opportunity to work on larger and more impactful projects and take a lead role in providing transport planning advice and technical service. Structural engineering jobs

Our transportation and infrastructure teams work on some of the most advanced and complex projects across the globe. We’re involved in a variety of things from designing innovative solutions to challenging problems while keeping our values of sustainability at the heart of everything we do. Join us as a structural engineer and you’ll play a key part in this process.

In this team, you’ll support on structural projects which could include road bridges, underground structures, rail, and light rail transit. You could help to plan and design structural projects, identify and solve design and construction challenges, and become part of our larger bridge and structures practice both regionally and globally.

Geotechnical engineering jobs

We’re looking for enthusiastic and hardworking geotechnical engineers to join our transportation and infrastructure division. As a multidisciplinary business, we work on a breadth of exciting projects, including some of the largest infrastructure projects in the world. Within this role, you could contribute by collecting data for use in geotechnical design, assess subsurface conditions and development of design criteria, and carry out detailed analysis of geotechnical aspects within a range of assignments.

If you’re interested in progressing your geotechnical career, you could help to mentor and train junior colleagues, provide expert advice to internal professionals in other fields, and lead geotechnical aspects within progressively larger and more complex projects.

Tunnel engineer jobs

Our tunnel experts plan, design, assess and support the operations and systems of tunnels throughout the project lifecycle. Your role could involve concept design and safety planning, conducting safety assessments, new build tunnel design, refurbishment and upgrade design, and site supervision and commissioning. Therefore, we look for individuals who specialise in the design of geotechnical structures (especially tunnels). You should also be knowledgeable in all aspects of major infrastructure projects.
