We’re at the forefront of some of the most exciting work within mechanical, civil and electrical engineering. Our expertise in oil, gas and petrochemicals dates back to the 1960s when we first began providing engineering services to the UK’s refineries for Shell, BP and Esso.
Meanwhile, our water sector has continued to flourish in the UK with the growth of our consultancy and asset management teams. Due to our vast range of projects and specialist roles, we’re always on the lookout for talented engineers who are interested in joining one of our dedicated teams.
Mechanical engineering jobs in the UK
You could help to deliver sustainable water solutions or work across significant projects in industries such as power and oil and gas as a mechanical engineer. We have a number of roles available within our multidisciplinary teams in these sectors.
You could be involved in projects with our design and build joint venture, Mott MacDonald Bentley, where we’re working with major water utility companies across the country. We’re currently growing our team of proactive and ambitious mechanical engineers to meet this demand from national and international clients.
Civil engineering jobs in the UK
Within our civil engineering teams, you could help to shape our cities’ skylines or deliver a range of highly technical and analytic services to our clients. Our opportunities are diverse, which means you could take on a variety of work within our buildings, railways, and water sectors.
Notable projects you could work on include London’s Crossrail, which is Europe’s largest infrastructure project. This £15bn venture will connect Maidenhead and Heathrow in the west to Shenfield and Abbey Wood in the east, via a new 100km commuter line.
We’re also leading the most important transport infrastructure project in the UK, High Speed Rail 2 (HS2). You could be part of a venture that will unite the UK’s regions and bring about regeneration and job creation to help encourage economic development.
Electrical engineering jobs in the UK
As an electrical engineer you will have the chance to work on a breadth of exciting projects within a fast paced and varied role. There are opportunities within both the private and public sector in industries such as buildings, power and transport.
You could be involved with work such as our venture with Anglian Water’s main delivery vehicle for their water, infrastructure and non infrastructure projects, with a programme value of around £2bn.
UK apprenticeships at Mott MacDonald
We also offer a number of UK apprenticeships in civil engineering, transport planning and building services engineering. You could help to build environments in which people thrive, positively impact the journeys of many people, and get involved with designing striking buildings across the world.
In addition to receiving a professionally recognised qualification, you’ll expand your knowledge and gain hands on experience in each of these disciplines. After joining us you’ll also attend the apprentice weekend, where you’ll be able to meet other apprentices and develop key skills.
