Mott MacDonald named Client Advisor of the Year
Mott MacDonald has won the Future of Consultancy Client Advisor of the Year title at the Consultancy & Engineering Awards 2021.
The win recognises a consultancy firm in the built environment for a value-adding approach to giving client advice. The focus on the ‘Future of Consultancy’ meant that entries also had to highlight the positive impact that the consultancy delivered through people-based expertise, data analytics and new technology, supported by qualitative or quantitative measures of success.
Mott MacDonald’s winning entry revolved around their advisory role with the Infrastructure Client Group (ICG), which is made up of Chief Data Officers and their equivalents from 20 leading UK asset owners and operators from the transport, energy, defence and water sectors, as well as Government representatives.
It focused on the use of the Smart Infrastructure Index, a user-friendly tool to self-assess digital maturity against industry best practice, which Mott MacDonald initially designed to help the ICG benchmark its digital maturity. The results from the index are used to deliver interactive dashboards and detailed insights reports, and are the focus for regularly run deep dive sessions with the group to explore them further, identify trends and discuss best practice.
The achievement reflects Mott MacDonald’s leading position in the field. Please get in touch with the advisory team if you think that that Smart Infrastructure Index could help you better understand your digital maturity.
