According to a recent article in NJBIZ magazine, Mott MacDonald in North America "has been excelling by the numbers." The No. 5 in the article's headline indicates our rank as the fifth largest privately held company in New Jersey.
In an interview with NJBIZ, Nick DeNichilo emphasized the opportunities presented by aging infrastructure, and the challenge posed by the American Society of Civil Engineers to reduce the life-cycle cost of infrastructure 50% by the year 2025.
"This will require innovation and a focus on resilient and sustainable infrastructure," he said. "We will also need to consider innovative forms of project delivery if we are going to accomplish more with less."
Nick noted that the alignment of the North American business with Mott MacDonald's global operations has given us a deeper resource base and allowed us to expand into new sectors.
