Patrick Natale congratulates Vatsal Shah on becoming President of the NJSPE.
Vatsal Shah, a Senior Project Engineer based in our Iselin office, was recently installed as President of the New Jersey Society of Professional Engineers (NJSPE).
Part of the larger National Society of Professional Engineers, NJSPE is a state society that promotes, serves, and represents New Jersey's engineering professionals for the public's benefit. The ceremony took place at the Mercer Oaks Country Club, where Vatsal was joined by over 200 of his peers, including coworkers from Mott MacDonald.
Vatsal has been active in NSPE/NJSPE for a decade and takes office on his 10-year anniversary with the organization. He previously served as Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President, and Younger Member coordinator. He was recognized as the Young Engineer of the Year by the organization in 2012 and has acted as a state coordinator over the last eight years for the national organization's MATHCOUNTS Competition program, which encourages STEM for middle school students.
