The Winter 2018 issue of Planning West, the magazine of the Planning Association of British Columbia, features an article coauthored by Elicia Elliott and Kristy McConnel, Transportation Planners based in our Vancouver office.
The article, "Working Across Disciplines to Create Public Infrastructure," looks at the challenges that face those challenged with designing transit systems and other public infrastructure that demand the skills of planners, engineers, urban designers, architects, landscape architects, artists, and community members.
As the article says, "Working collaboratively in a way that leverages and reflects a diversity of expertise, experience, and perspectives is critical to creating great infrastructure for a public that is likewise diverse."
