Health systems across the world vary to reflect government priorities and targets, and the local context and need, but all must be built on strong foundations with clear goals, rigorous policy design, responsive engagement, thorough appraisal, and well-defined roles and accountabilities.
We work with clients and partners around the world to build effective health systems, supported by robust policy development and sustainable economic and financing mechanisms, including national or social health insurance approaches.
As the world’s biggest provider of public-private partnership (P3) services, we have developed innovative P3 policies for national health agencies in multiple European and Asian nations, creating customized models to suit local conditions.
Our key areas of focus
We help governments review health expenditure through the managements of health resource accounts, examining effectiveness and efficiency of providers, and developing alternative models of financing the health sector, including national and social insurance plans.
We help governments and regions to design health systems that will deliver in line with policy direction and strategic priorities. This includes organizational structuring, institutional strengthening, defining roles and accountabilities, governance, performance management, and due diligence.
Policies for delivery
We support clients around the world to design preventative, public health, and healthcare policy and direction to meet their growing healthcare challenges.
