The Transportation recruitment team provide a professional in-house recruitment service to candidates and hiring managers alike, and we want to maintain that standard through recruiting a Resourcing advisor to join the team. We are getting busier by the day, but we want to find someone who can cope with that type of pressure and still work to a high standard.

Job Description

Primarily you will be supporting the transportation in-house recruitment team, managing the complete process of creating vacancies to their subsequent posting on our website and various social media channels. We will want you to be involved in the direct sourcing of candidates across various niche transportation disciplines using tools such as LinkedIn and various job boards. This will mean using LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search techniques.
You will also be involved in building professional relationships with perspective candidates and selling our culture and strong ethical approach to all aspects of our work. Offering opportunities to applicants and ensuring that they have a positive candidate experience is a key component of this role. The relationship building continues with our hiring manager community, helping you to gain a solid understanding of their business areas.

A core aspect will also include updating our application tracking system (Brassring/ IBM Kenexa) in an accurate and efficient way. Reporting our achievements is an important part of our approach to work as is working with the team to maintain compliance with GDPR regulations.

Candidate Specification

So, do you have what it takes?
You must have experience in recruitment sourcing ideally within an in-house environment however we will consider those who have worked within an Agency, as this role needs a person who fits into a team of very experienced recruiters and resourcers. Practical experience of using job boards, LinkedIn & social media will be expected as part of your skill set. Our applicant tracking system is Kenexa, and whilst experience of this system would be advantageous other ATS system experience would be considered. MS Office experience including Excel is required and the desire to work with data in Excel is important.

Like any recruitment environment we have challenging deadlines, so be prepared to show us that you have an ability to prioritise work, and manage challenging deadlines.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment so you need to be able to stay focused and pay attention to detail. Team attitude is crucial as we rely on each other, so we will be looking for a positive team attitude. If you have a background in technical or engineering recruitment, this would make your learning curve easier. However, we can be flexible for an individual with the right approach and competence from other disciplines.
