Our energy experts provide a total range of services for electrical power generation, transmission, and system development. For several years we’ve supported TenneT, the Dutch Transmission System operator, in delivering projects to improve essential high-voltage infrastructure.

We also support contractors and utility companies with developing and maintaining overhead line infrastructure, substations, onshore and offshore wind farms, and other civil and structural engineering projects.

Key projects

  • Randstad 380kV Noordring project extends the 380kV high-voltage grid operated by TenneT. Mott MacDonald is carrying out stakeholder and permit management for BAM, which plays an important role in this project to keep disturbance during construction to a minimum.
  • MOK 150kV cable connection between substations Marconistraat-Ommoord-Krimpen a/d IJssel. Mott MacDonald provides stakeholder management during the construction phase for BAM.
  • Hollandse Kust Zuid, route development cable connection for new wind farms and stakeholder management, in combination with Witteveen+Bos, for TenneT.
