My passion and drive for the development and improvement of society-changing infrastructure is fulfilled through my leadership of sustainable transport projects. Urban transit and complex infrastructure projects are embedded in my ‘work’ DNA, along with the recognition that good transport networks enable communities to connect, develop, strive and grow.
Biography
Colin leads our global urban transit and mobility practice, bringing a proactive and driven approach to shaping major complex linear public transport projects and programs of work. He is a civil engineer and design director specialising in developing integrated, multidisciplinary transport solutions with global experience spanning Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
Colin establishes collaborative client relationships providing an ongoing drive to gain best for project and sponsor outcomes, which, combined with his broad multidisciplinary engineering understanding, has enabled him to hold leadership roles in client and consultancy environments throughout the project lifecycle.
Colin’s expertise extends to urban roads, transport planning, and aviation, and he has deep experience in procurement strategies, including design and build, alliance, early contractor involvement, and public-private partnerships. He is passionate about building engaged, high-performing teams to deliver city-shaping infrastructure that makes a lasting impact.
Colin is a Chartered Engineer, Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, and a Registered Professional Engineer in Victoria, Australia.
