Tell us about your specialism and why you chose it

I was inspired by my father, a civil engineer, who showed me how his projects came to life and positively impacted the community. Witnessing the tangible benefits of his work sparked my passion for engineering and planning.

Throughout my career, I've worked on a wide range of master planning and strategic planning projects, bringing innovative ideas and solutions to create communities where people can enjoy high standards of living.

How has your career progressed since joining?

When I started my career at Mott MacDonald as an infrastructure planning manager, I led a small team dedicated to providing infrastructure input for masterplans. Driven by a passion for leadership and innovation, I worked closely with my team to grow and develop our capabilities. Over the past few years, we've expanded into one of the largest land development teams in the Middle East, consistently delivering excellence and high-quality work for our key clients. It's been incredibly rewarding to see our team's hard work and dedication make such a significant impact.

What have you learnt while working at Mott MacDonald?

In addition to my technical expertise, I have also developed a strong understanding of the consulting business, leadership and management skills as well as building a robust network both internally and externally.

How do you demonstrate Technical Excellence in your work?

I stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies so my skills and knowledge are always current. I also prioritise thorough planning, attention to detail and quality control processes. This helps me consistently deliver high-quality, innovative solutions that exceed client expectations. I also foster a collaborative environment where team members can share insights and best practices, further enhancing our collective technical expertise.

How do you contribute to Mott MacDonald making a difference to people and the planet?

My priority is to deliver projects that create a positive social impact. This involves designing infrastructure that is inclusive, accessible and improves the wellbeing of the communities it serves.

What are your career highlights and achievements?

Leading and growing a dynamic land development team in the Middle East. Through strong leadership and collaboration, we've become one of the best teams in the region, known for delivering high-quality work. This reputation has positioned Mott MacDonald as the go-to consultant for land development projects in the region.
