Tell us about your specialism and why you chose it

My specialism is in project, commercial and contract management. I chose this path because I enjoy solving complex challenges and helping projects succeed from both financial and strategic perspectives.

Why did you choose to join Mott MacDonald?

I chose Mott MacDonald for its values and global reputation for technical excellence. The idea of working for an employee-owned company felt like a place where I could grow and contribute.

How has your career progressed since joining?

I’ve taken on more strategic responsibilities, worked on high-profile public private partnership (PPP) projects, and expanded my experience across different sectors and regions. I’ve also had the opportunity to mentor colleagues and contribute to internal initiatives, which has been rewarding.

What have you learnt while working at Mott MacDonald?

I’ve deepened my understanding of risk management and stakeholder engagement, which are critical to delivering successful projects.

How do you demonstrate Technical Excellence in your work?

I bring a strong foundation in project management, commercial strategy, contract analysis and risk management. I focus on delivering clear insights that help clients make informed decisions and ensure projects stay on track.

How do you contribute to Mott MacDonald making a difference to people and the planet?

I direct projects that deliver long-term social value, whether through sustainable infrastructure or efficient resource management. I also support internal initiatives that promote mentoring and professional development.

Where in the world has your role taken you?

I’ve worked across Turkey and Qatar, gaining valuable international experience, diversity and regulatory environments. It’s been a great way to broaden my perspective and build global relationships with international stakeholders.

What are your career highlights and achievements?

Leading commercial advisory on unique and high value PPP projects has been a major highlight. I’ve also helped resolve complex claims and disputes, contributed to business strategy, company growth and mentored colleagues.

Are you involved in any additional initiatives at Mott MacDonald, aside from your day-to-day role?

Yes, I’ve supported onboarding, mentoring programmes and participated in discussions around improving commercial processes and tools.
