As the buildings construction management leader in New York City, Ken O’Connor assists in developing teams and portfolios of new building construction and renovation projects for New York City and New York State agencies.
Ken has over 35 years of experience in construction and construction management of large-scale building projects for both new construction and renovation. He has provided services for notable government clients, including the NYC Department of Design and Construction (NYCDDC), Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY), New York City Fire Department (FDNY), and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ). He has extensive expertise in project management, scheduling, coordinating contracts, project reporting, and staff management.
Ken’s construction experience includes coordinating and managing all aspects of a project from concept design to client occupancy. He has delivered design-build, design-bid-build, and construction management-build contracts. In addition, his expertise includes quality and safety assurance, cost negotiating, budget management, field operations, and contract closeout.
