Meet some of our passionate problem-solvers, constructive creatives and inspiring innovators
Margie Gray is principal for the water sector at Mott MacDonald in North America. She is a process engineer with over 20 years of experience in the water industry who has developed a wide range of experience leading drinking water quality and treatment projects. She has evaluated and designed improvements for over 50 groundwater and surface water treatment facilities. Among her interests are contaminants of emerging concern, and she has extensive experience evaluating and designing PFAS treatment facilities.
Prior to joining Mott MacDonald in 2001, she began her career in the water industry by serving in the Peace Corps as a water and sanitation engineer volunteer in Mali, which ignited her interest in a career path dedicated to providing safe drinking water. She is an active member of the American Water Works Association and serves on several committees. She co-authored the chapter on PFAS treatment in Ion Exchange for Drinking Water Treatment, published by the American Water Works Association.
