Biography
Richard was appointed as unit general manager of Mott MacDonald’s international development business in 2025. In this role, he manages a geographically-dispersed team of 500 people delivering major projects in the education, health, climate, infrastructure, water and energy sectors in low and middle-income countries.
He was previously the divisional general manager for the UAE, and was responsible for operational performance, commercial management, governance and team leadership.
Richard joined Mott MacDonald in 2013 and plays a vital role in strengthening relationships with our partners, championing client interests and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
He works closely with our market leaders to embed and implement unit and market strategies. He is entrusted with optimising performance across business functions, driving success and leading our people to deliver exceptional services.
