About the business unit
We help conceive, drive, and implement transport solutions for cities, regions, and asset owners/operators around the globe. From preparing the business case and advising on related issues - such as revenue, procurement, and environmental legislation - to delivering the completed infrastructure and helping maintain it. Our planning, engineering, environmental and management skills cover the whole project cycle. We play a major role in developing and delivering the Global Transport Sector Strategy.
About the team:
Our Aviation, Maritime and Offshore Division comprises of over 120 staff, primarily based in our Croydon office. We provide thought leadership, high quality design and advisory services to wide ranging engineering projects and clients. These range from major infrastructure projects in the UK and around the world, such as port and coastal construction developments, to aviation master planning, business cases and feasibility.
Overview of the role
We are looking to recruit a WIN/Bid Manager to support our Aviation, Maritime & Offshore division with ongoing project control functions and drive forward efficient ways of winning work.
You will be working within a team and undertaking responsibilities across a range of high-profile engineering projects. You will manage our WIN processes and key bids, leading teams through each phase of project bidding to achieve optimal results and client satisfaction, producing documentation which ensures adherence to our quality standards and internal governance.
You will develop and implement strategies to secure new business opportunities, ensuring they align with the company's objectives. You will oversee the entire bid process, ensuring all deadlines are met and client requirements are fulfilled. Leading and coordinating cross-functional teams, including project managers, technical experts, and legal advisors, will be essential.
You will work closely with the legal team, divisional commercial manager, and bid principals to define proposed contract terms and understand mitigation measure to potentially onerous terms that align with business control system. Identifying and mitigating risks associated with bids, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements (internal and external) and driving the process will be key factors.

We are seeking individuals with a strong background and experience in process management and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of bid management and have a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects or proposals across various countries.
