Mott MacDonald Bentley are recruiting for a Graduate Environment to join the Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA).

 

The 330km Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) Project by Anglian Water is under construction and will be completed during AMP8. Beyond this we have a further 260km of water transfer pipelines and associated infrastructure to be delivered in AMP8.

 

We are looking for a motivated Graduate Environment to support the enabling and delivery teams during the pre-construction and construction stages of our major potable water transfer project. This is a unique opportunity to work collaboratively in a high-demand sector, developing this project that will protect the environment and support communities across the region. 

 
Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide support to construction projects on environmental issues, including assisting with document production and review as necessary. 
  • Work collaboratively across the SPA contracts to ensure requirements of the Construction Environment Management Plan are delivered at appropriate construction stages.  
  • Ensure compliance with current environmental legislation and promote best practices relevant to SPA. 
  • Undertake site inspections as defined by the frequency within the Construction Environmental Management Plan document.  
  • Assist with the development and deliver training materials (such as case studies, toolbox talks etc.) as required 
  • Help ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to high-quality standards 

 

What We’re Looking For: 

  • A degree in an environmental subject, or a related discipline 
  • Knowledge or experience in a subject matter such as Contaminated Land, Statutory Nuisance, Waste Management, Ecology, Incident investigation, or Environmental permitting 
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills 
  • A proactive, detail-driven approach and a willingness to learn 
  • Full UK driving licence (or working towards it)
