Events planner – leadership programmes and event delivery 

Are you an experienced events planner who takes pride in getting the details right, keeping logistics tightly controlled, and being on site when it matters?

We’re looking for a confident, delivery-focused planner to play a key role in the planning and delivery of our emerging leader development programme – a flagship series of events that run throughout the year and bring colleagues together from across the business.

Alongside this core programme, you’ll also deliver a range of internal and client events on an ad-hoc basis, primarily face-to-face in and around London, with some virtual and hybrid activity.

This is a hands-on role with a strong logistical and administrative focus, ideal for someone who is confident delivering events end-to-end, enjoys managing multiple events at once, and is starting to build experience in the more strategic and governance-led aspects of event delivery. 

What you'll be doing

Leading delivery of our emerging leader programme: 

• Plan and deliver a high-volume programme of events running concurrently throughout the year
• Own the logistics end to end: venues, suppliers, schedules, room set-ups, delegate management and derigs
• Co-ordinate confidently with internal teams, facilitators, suppliers and senior stakeholders
• Manage budgets, quotes and approvals, ensuring accurate tracking and value for money
• Support governance and reporting requirements, including attendance tracking and post-event evaluation 

Delivering additional internal and client events:

• Support the delivery of other internal and client events as needed
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining high delivery standards
• Apply learning from each event to continuously improve how we plan and deliver 

You’ll regularly manage multiple events at different stages simultaneously, so strong organisation and prioritisation are essential. UK travel is required, with frequent events in and around London.

• Have delivered events independently and are confident managing logistics from start to finish

• Like being on site and close to delivery, not just behind the scenes
• Are starting to gain exposure to budgets, governance and evaluation and want to build on that
• Enjoy working with colleagues globally while staying focused on practical delivery
