Job Description:

As an experienced BIM/CAD technician, you will be expected to be proactive in the production of drawings and being able to resolve any issues related to BIM/CAD. You should be able to work in BIM environment. Key elements of the role are:

•    Taking ownership of quality and delivery of own work.

•    Able to resolve and support the team on the issues pertaining to CAD and drawing in general.

•    Reviewing CAD models and drawings.

•    Ensuring work is completed accurately and with attention to detail.

•    Working with the design team and individually on CAD projects.

•    Ensuring standards are being followed for every project undertaken.

•    Guiding junior team members.

Candidate Requirements:

The preferred candidate requirements are:

•     Bachelor’s degree/diploma in engineering or design/ CAD Certification/ Previous experience as a          

      CAD Technician. Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD. MicroStation and Autodesk Civil 3D an    

      added skill set.
•    Experience working in the Bentley ProjectWise environment.
•    Previous experience in road project is a must.
•    Preferably has experience with middle east projects.
•    Will have applied and used BIM tools & software in civil engineering infrastructure projects.
•    Ability to identify complex BIM issues quickly and accurately.
•    Proactive communication skills when working with colleagues & design teams.
•    Excellent time management skills.
•    Ability to work in an organised structured framework, supporting colleagues and delivering to the   

      project program.
