This program is of national and international significance, supporting the city’s readiness for a global mega event. The Lead Scheduler will manage a team of schedulers, coordinate with designers, contractors, and program managers, and develop and maintain the Master Program Schedule (MPS) that integrates planning, design, procurement, construction, and key program milestones.

This is a senior technical leadership position requiring deep expertise in scheduling, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable schedule reporting across a complex program environment.

Job Duties:

  • Lead the scheduling team in developing construction schedules for each project in the program, ensuring updates as design progresses.
  • Develop, maintain, and update the Master Program Schedule (MPS) monthly, capturing planning, design procurement, contractor procurement, construction, project interfaces, vehicle delivery, PM/CM deliverables, and program milestones.
  • Review designer baseline schedules, monthly updates, and earned value reports.
  • Reconcile Construction Contract Time Determination (CTD) schedules submitted with each design deliverable.
  • Review contractor schedules, monitor progress against planned completion and contract milestones.
  • Support critical activities such as Value Engineering (VE) studies, risk analyses, and claims (time entitlement analysis).
  • Collaborate with designers to define construction phasing, establish contract milestones, and identify operational limitations.
  • Lead preparation of all schedule reporting, including monthly reports, 6-week look-aheads, and schedule “hot lists.”
  • Provide clear, data-driven insights to highlight program progress and identify critical activities requiring attention.
  • Engage with stakeholders including clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment and transparency.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience, with at least 10 years in planning and scheduling coordination for large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Proven track record on projects such as multi-modal transport hubs, transit/rail systems, or mixed-use developments.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling software.
  • Strong ability to develop cost/schedule analysis presentations (graphic, written, and verbal).
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, and deliver under tight deadlines.
