We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Controller Intern to support our Project Managers across a wide range of project delivery activities. This internship offers hands-on experience in project governance, reporting, and process improvement, providing a strong foundation for a career in project management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers in managing scope, cost, schedule, resources, change, and risk across various projects.
  • Gather data and contribute to cost, schedule, and risk reporting under guidance.
  • Support governance processes by ensuring project documentation aligns with internal standards and procedures.
  • Assist project managers to maintain compliance and quality control, including implementation of the STEP process.
  • Collaborate with project teams to understand governance requirements and support integration of project management methodologies with STEP, our Group management system.
  • Assist in providing support to project teams facing challenges, under the supervision of the Project Manager.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Project/Construction Management, Infrastructure and Project Management (IPM), Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in project management, data analysis, and process improvement.
  • Basic understanding of project management principles (scope, cost, schedule, risk, change management) is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project or Deltek is an advantage.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, including digital automation solutions and internal systems like STEP for internal governance compliance.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to take initiative under guidance.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward identifying and supporting improvements.
