Overview of role
This opportunity is for a Senior Consultant experienced in a range of business change capabilities, including improvement and transformation, collaboration, innovation, social impact and business cases. We are looking for a creative and dynamic person eager to progress their career and support clients in tackling organisational challenges, enhancing business performance, and becoming more successful, resilient, and sustainable. Key responsibilities and duties include:

• Lead and deliver low complexity and support / lead on aspects of medium to high complexity assignments to external infrastructure clients across the range of our services
• Lead and support delivery of multiple, low complexity assignments to external infrastructure clients across the range of our services
• Be an emerging generalist or subject matter expert with developing impact, influence and recognition in at least one of our capabilities
• Demonstrate development and application of key attributes including collaboration, communication, creativity, critical thinking, and digital capability, personal development, assignment delivery, technical excellence and business development
• Provide your evolving subject matter expertise to clients and colleagues
• Support teams delivering assignments from initiation to close
• Demonstrate our PRIDE values
• Additionally, support the overall team in business and commercial development, in areas such as: Building internal and external networks to generate opportunities and win new commissions; Participate in the development and improvement of our service offerings and client propositions; Aid the development of all staff and wider team capabilities and our community of practice; Management of the commercial aspects of Mott MacDonald projects including financial performance and contractual terms

Candidate specification
Essential:

• Experience in working in client facing roles with well-developed consultancy skills
• Appreciation of organisation types, cultures, and behaviours
• Working in and supporting cross-functional teams
• Awareness of ISO 56000 series is desirable
• Reviewing and influencing current and future processes and target operating models
• Managing, implementing, facilitating, and monitoring the delivery of assignments
• Applying change management principles, methodologies and tools that underpin change management, with a track record of achieving results
• Establishing and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships influencing others to move towards a common vision or goal and gaining ‘buy in’ to enable change through others
• Facilitation and communication skills to clearly articulate messages to a wide variety of audiences
• Working in innovative and creative ways
• Awareness of 3PM, lean, better business cases, and benefits management

Desirable:

• Relevant technical discipline accreditation and/or business degree qualified
• Any of the following qualifications: agile project management, programme and / or portfolio management, strategy development / design thinking, Six Sigma / Lean, business case development, change management (APMG, ProSci Practitioner, ACMP CCMP)
• Associate or Chartered Management Consultant (ChMC)
• UK Government security clearance
