Senior Quantity Surveyor (Head Office-based)

Your Next Challenge

As a promising professional member prepared to further enhance his/her career with Mott MacDonald as a leading NEC consultant, you will be responsible for the following duties under supervision by our Project Strategy & Delivery Leader Hong Kong for a portfolio of buildings, civil and E&M contracts adopting NEC forms of contracts, ranging from priced options to target cost options:

•         Cost estimation
•         Formulation of contract and tendering strategy
•         Preparation of tender documents
•         Tender evaluation
•         Evaluation and assessment of compensation events
•         Assessment of payment for the contractor's work
•         Provision of contract advice
•         Financial monitoring and reporting
•         Attending meetings and workshops 

On an as-need basis, you may also be required to provide quantity surveying support to other projects not adopting NEC forms of contract.
 
What You’ll Need
 
•         MHKIS/MRICS or equivalent
•         Keen on expanding professional development into non-traditional forms of contract including NEC being increasingly used in Hong Kong 
•         Good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese
 
Candidates with less experience will be offered the role of Quantity Surveyor.
