Mott MacDonald Bentley are recruiting for a System Control Engineer to join the Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA).
The 330km Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) Project by Anglian Water is under construction and will be completed during AMP8. Beyond this we have a further 260km of water transfer pipelines and associated infrastructure to be delivered in AMP8.
Are you detail-oriented, organised, and passionate about contributing to one of the UK’s most ambitious water infrastructure projects? The Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) is searching for a System Control Engineer to support and enhance our project delivery team.
What will you be doing as our new System Control Engineer?
You will be developing plans for the integration of the AMP8 interconnectors with the existing Anglian Water distribution network, and strategic pipeline, to control the movement of water of the right quality to the right place at the right time. Initially supporting the decision-making around the interface points and developing the control strategy for the schemes, your designs will be robust, innovative and optimised to deliver value for money.
As a System Control Engineer, you will be working across the entire programme, and have close liaison with representatives of diverse parts of Anglian Water, which will be essential in ensuring the needs of the business are met.
