Metrolinx recently opened the Line 6 Finch West Light Rail Transit (LRT) line, a transformative addition to the city’s transit network. Toronto’s first new transit line in 23 years spans nearly 11 kilometers (6.8 miles) with 18 new stops from Humber College to Finch West Station and features new, modern light rail vehicles (LRVs).
The new LRT line significantly improves connectivity for residents and commuters, easing congestion on major routes and providing thousands of daily riders with safe, reliable, and environmentally sustainable transportation.
