Mott MacDonald has appointed new leadership to its transport business in Asia, with Nick Osborne taking on the role of transport leader for Hong Kong and Er Thuvarahan Thirilogaiswera becoming transport leader for Singapore.
The global engineering, management and development consultancy has a rich history contributing to Asia's infrastructure landscape, including Singapore’s North-South Corridor, Thomson-East Coast Line, Marina Coastal Expressway, Changi Airport Terminal 5 and the Third Runway Concourse at Hong Kong International Airport.

The strengthening of its transport leadership team in Asia follows increasing demand for the modernisation and delivery of new infrastructure across the region to meet the need for more efficient and sustainable transportation. Mott MacDonald’s teams specialise in major infrastructure projects across Asia and the consultancy is a recognised leader in geotechnical and underground structures.
As transport leader for Hong Kong, Nick will be focused on establishing and strengthening key client relationships and delivering excellence for major transport infrastructure projects. Across a 30 year career, Nick has previously worked on significant projects including London’s Jubilee Line, various MRT stations globally and major underground road projects including Singapore’s North South Corridor.
YC Lam has also been appointed as the new development director transport Hong Kong. YC is a fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers and the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers.
Er Thuvarahan Thirilogaiswera, has been appointed transport leader Singapore. Er Thuvarahan Thirilogaiswera has extensive experience in commercial management and technical leadership of large infrastructure projects. He is involved as Qualified Person Design for critical North South Corridor projects as well as Changi Terminal 5 development.
Er Dr Agus Samingan has also been appointed development director transport Singapore. A member of the Tunnelling and Underground Construction Society of Singapore and a registered Qualified Person, Dr Agus’ experience includes the Singapore Utility Tunnel, Marina Coastal Expressway, and Downtown Line MRT.
