Paul Bentley appointed to Mott MacDonald’s executive board

Mott MacDonald has appointed Paul Bentley to its executive board, effective 1 January 2026.

Paul has worked as a director in Mott MacDonald’s contracting business, JN Bentley, since 1999 and he will continue in this role. JN Bentley became part of the Mott MacDonald business in 2014 and delivers much of its work as fully integrated design and build company Mott MacDonald Bentley (MMB).

Under Paul’s leadership, MMB has become one of the most successful design and build contractors in the UK and the number one D&B partner in the UK water industry with clients including Yorkshire Water, Anglian Water and Northumbrian Water.

With more than 30 years’ industry experience, Paul began his career as a graduate and progressed through roles including site engineer, contracts manager and estimator. This practical background has shaped his visible leadership style and strong focus on delivery.
