Biography
Jason Rowan has led the Mott MacDonald’s energy networks business since 2017. Jason brings more than 30 years of global experience in the power transmission and distribution sectors, having delivered engineering and project management in both construction and consulting engineering sectors. Global experience includes Sub-Saharan Africa, UK, Europe, the Middle East and USA.
As the leader of the energy networks business, Jason is responsible for building multi-disciplinary transmission and distribution teams that undertake network planning, system studies, substation and transmission line design, HVDC converter station design, grid storage and compensation and data centre connections. The team undertakes both concept level feasibility engineering and planning, as well as detailed design for utilities and contractors.
Known for his technical leadership and strategic insight, Jason is committed to sustainable energy innovation and creating resilient networks.
