Biography

Simon joined Mott MacDonald in 2021 and brings over two decades of experience in shaping mobility and transport strategies across the UK and, predominantly, the Middle East. His work spans strategic modelling, multimodal network design and the integration of land use with mobility systems to ensure transport solutions genuinely reflect how people move through cities.

With more than 16 years supporting major programmes across the Middle East, Simon has led transport planning for some of the region’s most ambitious urban developments and large-scale mixed-use destinations. His portfolio includes national and city-level strategic planning, complex access and circulation studies, airport landside mobility, user-focused tourism transport systems and large-scale event and crowd movement planning. Across all his work, Simon is committed to creating connected, flexible and resilient planning solutions that align with project vision, user needs and regulatory requirements. At the same time, he balances the operational realities of rapidly evolving urban environments.

His leadership enables clients to deliver cities that function efficiently, operate sustainably and put people first.
