Why did you choose you career path? Why Mott MacDonald?

I chose my career path because I am an enthusiast for buildings information modelling (BIM) and passionate about developing innovative ways to deliver traditional services.

I am senior BIM coordinator for water projects within our global delivery services team.  I am also the innovation BIM manager for Anglian Water at Mott MacDonald Bentley. My role involves ensuring the seamless delivery of data-rich 3D models, optimising workflows, enhancing collaboration and driving technological advancements to improve project outcomes and efficiency.

What are some of the most exciting or innovative projects you’ve been trusted to lead or contribute to?

One of the most exciting and innovative projects I've been trusted to lead is to leverage advanced technology to enhance the accuracy, efficiency and integration of piping and instrumentation diagrams, significantly improving project outcomes and collaboration.

What does a typical day look like for you at Mott MacDonald, and how do you find opportunities to excel in your role?

A typical day for me at Mott MacDonald involves being a problem solver for my team. I guide and train them, addressing and resolving their issues. Achieving solutions and overcoming challenges is what makes my day fulfilling and rewarding.

What inspired you to join Mott MacDonald, and how has your career journey evolved since then?

I was inspired to join Mott MacDonald because of its innovative approach and commitment to excellence. I started my career as a senior civil technician and, since then, collaborating with colleagues, collecting ideas and focusing on self-development have been key to my growth. These experiences have helped me evolve and take on more challenging and rewarding roles within the company.
